This quote from playwright George Bernard Shaw really hits home for presenters…
“The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.”
As presenters we often struggle with our wording…
Spending hours to find what we believe are just the right words to communicate our points to our audience…
We think we’re being clear… it certainly sounds that way in our minds…
But then we get that puzzled or blank look from our attendees…
Sometimes in our workshops, the attendees struggle with carrying out an activity…
Again because we’re under the illusion that our instructions were crystal clear…
We hope that our participants ask for clarification…
But most won’t… they’re just too self-conscious and often believe they’re the only one in the audience who’s confused…
So they hold back and don’t get the full benefit of our teachings…
Creating a great talk, workshop, or retreat session can be challenging…
So, I recently opened my 3-month coaching program Wow Them With Workshops…
To give personal 1-on-1 attention to those who want it…
What do you want coaching on?
On how best to …
Get your key points across?
Engage your audience members?
Facilitate and debrief activities?
Make a powerful connection with your audience?
Tell stories?
Ask good questions?
Get people into the room?
Handle your nerves?
Deal with difficult audiences?
Or some other aspect of creating and leading transformational talks, workshops, or retreat sessions?
I use my Engaging Talks and Workshops Road Map© as a guide…
And as well, I coach you on every aspect of creating and leading a life-changing transformational session…
